The Crown Prince of Ajman, Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, visited the ‘Make in the Emirates’ platform, accompanied by key officials such as Sheikh Hamid bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi and Sheikh Rashid bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi.
During his visit, His Highness received insights from Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber concerning vital national initiatives designed to enhance the UAE’s industrial framework. These projects emphasize sustainability, growth, and global competitiveness.
As part of the visit, the Crown Prince assessed advancements in defense technologies at the EDGE Group pavilion. He also gained insights about the work of the UAE Cybersecurity Council, focusing on its efforts to fortify the nation’s cybersecurity posture.
Sheikh Ammar asserted the leadership's strong focus on nurturing the industrial sector, highlighting ongoing initiatives aimed at bolstering national industries by fostering a conducive environment for innovation and growth.
He remarked that the ‘Make in the Emirates’ initiative showcases the UAE’s industrial development, driven by a long-term vision to establish a sustainable, competitive industrial ecosystem.
He also noted that a robust national industry is fundamental for economic diversification, showcasing the resilience and strength of the UAE economy amid global transformations.
Additionally, he indicated that the platform is crucial for industrial advancement, empowering local businesses, fostering innovation, and attracting new investments, thereby elevating the UAE’s status as a premier global industrial center.
The fifth edition of ‘Make in the Emirates’ showcases over 1,245 exhibiting companies from 12 industrial sectors and is anticipated to draw more than 120,000 attendees, including investors, manufacturers, policymakers, and industry leaders worldwide.
