UAE President Discusses Advanced Tech and AI with Elon Musk

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with American entrepreneur Elon Musk to discuss developments in advanced technology and artificial intelligence. They explored how these innovations can improve quality of life and support global progress through practical applications.

During the meeting, they emphasised the importance of international partnerships, collaboration and knowledge sharing. They noted that such efforts are essential for nations and institutions to accelerate digital transformation and prepare for future challenges in technology.

The meeting was attended by senior UAE leaders, including H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Minister of Defence; H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council; H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with other ministers and officials.

The discussions highlighted the UAE’s focus on adopting cutting-edge technologies, promoting innovation, and strengthening international cooperation to lead in the global digital and AI landscape.
