Shura Council Speaker Engages with French and Portuguese Diplomats

On Tuesday, Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim, the Speaker of the Shura Council, conducted individual meetings with Arnaud Pescheux, the Ambassador of France to Qatar, and Ana Filomena da Costa Rocha, the Ambassador of Portugal.

These discussions centered on the strong ties between Qatar and both France and Portugal, placing emphasis on enhancing parliamentary collaboration.

Additionally, they explored avenues to fortify partnerships between the Shura Council and the legislative bodies of France and Portugal. This entails boosting parliamentary friendship groups, facilitating reciprocal visits, and maintaining active coordination in global parliamentary forums.
