Qatar Hosts National Research Exhibition 2026 Highlighting Student Innovations

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar has successfully wrapped up the National Scientific Research and Innovation Exhibition 2026, carried out in partnership with the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation (QRDI) Council.

The 18th iteration of this exhibition occurred at the Qatar National Convention Centre, themed “Promising Researchers for Qatar.” This noteworthy event gathered a multitude of students, educators, and education specialists from across the nation, showcasing Qatar’s commitment to enhancing scientific research and innovation.

With 2,971 participating students from 249 schools, attendees displayed 1,467 scientific research projects. Furthermore, 672 educators contributed with 616 action research projects aimed at refining teaching techniques and educational methodologies.

During the closing ceremony, dignitaries from Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education, alongside the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council, recognized exceptional students, educators, and collaborative partners for their remarkable achievements across various research contests aimed at primary, preparatory, and secondary education levels.

The exhibition also honored ten student research projects developed in partnership with the Young Scientists Center, underscoring the significance of alliances between educational establishments and emerging researchers.

Officials commended the impressive participation levels and the caliber of the projects showcased at the exhibition, noting that the event mirrors the growing scientific awareness, creativity, and innovative capabilities among Qatar’s youth, further aligning with the nation’s educational and developmental aspirations.
