Trump's Approval Rating Plummets Amid Economic Woes and Iran Tensions

According to a recent NBC News poll, President Donald Trump's approval rating has nosedived to the lowest level since he assumed office in January 2025.

Conducted from March 30 to April 13, the survey reveals that 63% of adults disapprove of Trump's performance, while just 37% approve. This marks a historic low for Trump's approval ratings as recorded by NBC. The poll drew responses from 32,433 adults nationwide and has a margin of error of ±1.8 percentage points.

The steep decline in approval is primarily attributed to escalating public discontent regarding the nation’s economic landscape and worries about the ongoing U.S. involvement in the Iran situation. Many voters voiced concerns over rising economic pressures and the ramifications of foreign policy actions.

This significant drop in approval ratings could spell trouble for Republicans as they gear up for the forthcoming midterm elections, where voter sentiments will play a crucial role in determining political outcomes.
