H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister, received the UAE Hot Air Balloon Team as they prepared for the launch of His Highness the President’s hot air balloon. The balloon will tour Arab countries and beyond, spreading the UAE’s message of peace, tolerance, and goodwill.

The hot air balloon is scheduled to depart from Dubai on a global mission, highlighting the UAE’s accomplishments in various fields under the visionary leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The initiative reflects the country’s commitment to promoting harmony and international cooperation.

During the meeting at Emirates Towers, Sheikh Hamdan was briefed by Captain Pilot Abdulaziz Nasser Al Mansouri, President of the UAE Hot Air Balloon Team, on the balloon’s technical specifications. The discussion covered details of the balloon’s capabilities, safety measures, and preparations for the upcoming international tour.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan commended the UAE Hot Air Balloon Team for representing the nation on the global stage. He highlighted that hot air ballooning is a specialised sport and that the Emirati team’s leadership in this field is a source of national pride. He also emphasized the importance of the balloon’s mission in sharing the UAE’s values of universal goodwill and peace.

Captain Abdulaziz Al Mansouri expressed his appreciation for Sheikh Hamdan’s continuous support, which has been crucial to the team’s success over more than two decades. The UAE Hot Air Balloon Team has achieved international recognition and numerous accolades during its journey, reflecting dedication, expertise, and a commitment to excellence.

The meeting included key members of the UAE Hot Air Balloon Team, including Captain Hassan Nasser Al Mansouri, Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Khurais, and Rashid Ali Al Alili. Their presence highlighted the collaborative spirit and coordination required for the successful execution of the balloon’s global tour.

The President’s hot air balloon tour will serve as a unique platform to promote the UAE’s culture, innovation, and humanitarian message. By visiting several countries, the team aims to strengthen international ties, foster mutual understanding, and demonstrate the UAE’s leadership in peaceful global outreach.
