UAE & Jordan Continue Aid Drops to Gaza in Ongoing Relief Effort

The United Arab Emirates (UAE), working together with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, has continued to send important humanitarian aid to the people living in Gaza. They do this by dropping supplies from airplanes over places that are hard to reach on the ground. This ongoing effort is part of a special project called the “Birds of Goodness” initiative. Today marked the 55th time they have done this airdrop, and it is the second day in a row they have sent help from the air.

What Is “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3”?

These airdrops are part of a bigger operation named “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.” This operation shows the strong commitment of the UAE to help the Palestinian people during a difficult time. Because of security problems in the area, many places in Gaza are hard to reach by land. The UAE’s air deliveries make sure that aid can get to families who need it most, even if roads are blocked or unsafe.

How Much Aid Has Been Delivered So Far?

Since the “Birds of Goodness” project started, about 3,750 tonnes of aid have been dropped from the air. This aid includes food and other important relief items that families in Gaza urgently need. The goal is to help people survive and cope with the severe difficulties caused by the current crisis. This large amount of aid shows the UAE’s strong and ongoing effort to support those suffering in Gaza.

What Kind of Help Is Being Sent?

The aid sent includes essential food supplies like rice, flour, sugar, and canned goods.
