UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, during a meeting held at Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve in Dubai.
During the meeting, both leaders exchanged warm and friendly conversations and prayed for the continued safety, stability, and prosperity of the United Arab Emirates and its people.
They also discussed the nationwide efforts being carried out by the UAE’s military and civil institutions to protect the country’s security and maintain stability. The leaders highlighted the importance of safeguarding the nation and ensuring the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors, especially amid ongoing tensions related to Iran.
Both leaders reaffirmed that the UAE will continue to remain a place of safety and stability. They emphasized that the country has the strength and determination to overcome challenges through the unity of its society and the efficiency of its national institutions.
They also praised the dedication and commitment of the UAE Armed Forces, security agencies, and other national teams for their efforts in defending the country, protecting its territory, and ensuring the safety of everyone living in the UAE.
Later, President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed attended a special Iftar banquet hosted in his honour by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The meeting and Iftar gathering were attended by several senior UAE leaders and officials, including Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Deputy Prime Minister; Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance; Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group.
Several other sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials were also present at the meeting and the Iftar banquet.
