The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced the official working hours for all ministries and federal entities in the UAE during the Holy Month of Ramadan 2026.
According to the announcement, working hours from Monday to Thursday will be from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. On Fridays, working hours will be from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, except for employees whose job nature requires different timings.
FAHR also highlighted that flexible working regulations can continue during Ramadan, as long as the approved daily working hours are maintained.
Employees may also be granted the option to work remotely on Fridays, with remote work not exceeding 70% of the entity’s total workforce, in line with approved regulations.
This schedule aims to support employees while ensuring smooth government operations during Ramadan.
