Abu Dhabi, February 22, 2026 — H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, attended part of the seventh and final stage of the UAE Tour 2026, which was held in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of AD Ports Group.
Sheikh Nahyan followed the race during its concluding stage and welcomed the participating cyclists. He praised their high technical standards and strong sportsmanship, noting that these qualities reflect the UAE Tour’s respected position on the international cycling calendar.
The eighth edition of the UAE Tour 2026 concluded after seven stages, covering a total distance of 1,004.2 kilometres. It remains the only international cycling race in the Middle East listed on the Union Cycliste Internationale calendar.
The race was organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and sponsored by AD Ports Group, with 147 cyclists from 21 international teams taking part.
Italy’s Jonathan Milan of Lidl-Trek won the seventh and final stage, completing the 149-kilometre AD Ports Group Stage in 2 hours, 56 minutes and 48 seconds.
Mexican rider Isaac Del Toro of UAE Team Emirates XRG was crowned the overall champion of the UAE Tour 2026 following his impressive performance in the penultimate stage in Al Ain.
