Amruta Fadnavis, wife of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, reveals that her mornings kick off with a warm drink of turmeric and black pepper water. Leading an active lifestyle, she believes this easy concoction helps her maintain vitality and wellness.

In a video shared recently on Curly Tales' Instagram, Amruta discussed her morning routine, stating that her day begins with “haldi (turmeric) and pepper water.” This choice of morning beverage is gaining attention due to its blend of two potent natural ingredients, staple in Indian households for years.

While many celebrities opt for morning drinks like lemon water or cumin water to enhance digestion and immunity, Amruta's choice shines for its rich Ayurvedic heritage and robust health advantages.

Turmeric, often referred to as “the golden spice,” is well-known for its medicinal properties. It harbors curcumin, a natural compound renowned for combating inflammation and bolstering the immune system. Additionally, it supports liver health, enhances digestion, and promotes glowing skin.

However, curcumin's absorption is limited when consumed solo. This is where black pepper plays a significant role. It contains piperine, which can enhance curcumin absorption by up to 2,000 percent, as per various studies. Together, turmeric and black pepper form an outstanding duo for elevating overall health.
