His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, met with His Imperial Highness Crown Prince Fumihito of Japan at the Akasaka Imperial Residence. The meeting was part of the official visit of Bahrain’s Crown Prince to Japan.
Strong And Historic Relations
During the meeting, Prince Salman spoke about the strong and historic ties between Bahrain and Japan. He said these relations are based on trust, cooperation, and joint efforts between the two countries. He also mentioned the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and His Majesty Emperor Naruhito of Japan, which makes the relations even stronger.
Agreements To Be Signed
The Crown Prince explained that new announcements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) will be signed during this visit. These agreements show that the friendship between Bahrain and Japan is growing stronger and creating more opportunities for both countries to work together in many fields.
Praise For Expo 2025 Osaka
Prince Salman also praised Japan for its hard work in preparing for Expo 2025 Osaka. He said that Japan’s ability to organise such a large international event shows its experience and strength in hosting global platforms. He added that events like Expo 2025 help nations share culture, build stronger economies, and work together for sustainable development around the world.
Discussions On Cooperation
During the meeting, both sides talked about possible future partnerships between Bahrain and Japan. They also discussed regional and international developments and other important issues that concern both countries. These discussions showed the shared interest in building long-term cooperation.
Officials Attending The Meeting
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, was present at the meeting along with several senior Bahraini officials. Their presence reflected the importance of the talks and the commitment to further strengthen Bahrain-Japan ties.
