Thailand’s recently appointed Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, Captain Patthadarasmi Thongslueykorn, commenced her role at Government House in Bangkok with a respectful ceremony at key spiritual locations within the governmental site. This event heralded her new responsibilities in managing public communications for ministries associated with the Pheu Thai Party and articulating the government's policy trajectory.

After the inaugural ceremony, Captain Patthadarasmi discussed her commitment to enhancing the government's communication effectiveness. She addressed recent public bewilderment stemming from a Cabinet announcement connected to the Foreign Business Act, highlighting the confusion about new ministerial regulations affecting eight business categories that may not require foreign business permits.
