Morning Drinks to Promote Hormone Balance, Says Apollo Doctor

Morning Drinks to Promote Hormone Balance, Says Apollo Doctor

Post by : Saif Al-Najjar

For many seeking to boost their energy and enhance hormonal health, morning routines play a crucial role. According to Dr. Tripti Dubey of Apollo Hospitals in Navi Mumbai, what we consume upon waking can profoundly influence our mood and energy levels throughout the day.

Our hormones, which serve as chemical messengers, regulate various bodily functions including sleep, appetite, stress, and weight management. Imbalances can lead to fatigue, irritability, skin problems, and difficulties in weight management. Dr. Dubey emphasizes that selecting the right morning beverages can bolster hormonal health, particularly when paired with adequate sleep, wholesome meals, and consistent physical activity.

The body performs vital repair processes overnight, making it essential to start the day with nourishing drinks that support liver and digestive functions. This, in turn, contributes to hormonal stability.

Among her recommendations is flaxseed-chia water, a blend high in fiber and essential nutrients beneficial for digestion and hormone regulation. These seeds can be pre-soaked and consumed in the morning for optimal benefits.

Additionally, she highlights warm lemon water, coconut water, herbal teas, and fenugreek seed water as excellent choices. These drinks are not only refreshing but also provide necessary hydration and nutrients while assisting the liver, which is vital for hormone regulation.

However, Dr. Dubey cautions that such beverages are not standalone solutions for hormone-related issues. A comprehensive approach to health, including sufficient rest, limited processed foods, stress management, and regular exercise, is crucial for overall wellness.

The takeaway is simple: embrace gentle morning routines, opt for natural drinks, and equip your body with the necessary support. Consistent, small habits can lead to stronger health and greater balance.
