The Dubai Airshow 2025 commenced with an enthusiastic and formal welcome from UAE's top officials. H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, along with H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, received numerous distinguished delegations at this prominent event. Hosted at Dubai World Central, the airshow runs until November 21, uniting leaders, experts, and specialists from the aviation, aerospace, and defence sectors globally. The UAE leaders conveyed their best wishes for the success of all participants, highlighting the importance of this edition in fostering new ideas and robust partnerships for a progressive future in aviation.

Their Highnesses engaged with defence ministers, military chiefs, and high-ranking officials from various allied nations. They reiterated the UAE's appreciation for all delegations, viewing the airshow as a vital avenue for collaboration, partnership, and innovation. The leaders emphasized that the event fosters collective efforts to forge a future in aviation and enhance international relationships. They expressed their hope that every attendee would leave with enriched experiences, contributing to the airshow's successful outcomes.

Sheikh Khaled remarked that this 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow marks a significant milestone in the aviation and defence sectors' evolution. He noted that the influx of global delegations signifies worldwide confidence in the UAE. He stated that the UAE has cultivated a robust, diverse knowledge-based economy driven by stability, innovation, and progress. Sheikh Khaled conveyed the UAE's eagerness to strengthen partnerships with other nations, concentrating on innovation and sustainability within aviation. Such alliances are pivotal in enhancing competitiveness for national companies and supporting the long-term growth of the aviation industry.

Sheikh Hamdan pointed out that the UAE's ascent as one of the world’s fastest-growing economies stems from a leadership dedicated to investing in knowledge and innovation. He mentioned that the airshow exemplifies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, positioning Dubai as a global hub for aviation, space, and defence. He highlighted the event's role in attracting key decision-makers to collaborate on future solutions for these sectors, asserting that the robust turnout reflects the global trust in Dubai and the UAE as reliable partners in establishing a sustainable aviation future.

The ceremony also saw participation from H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports, alongside other senior sheikhs, ministers, and UAE officials. Following the reception, Sheikh Khaled, Sheikh Hamdan, and delegation heads enjoyed a spectacular aerial performance showcasing advancements in both commercial and military aviation technology.
