Dubai Parks to Offer Free Medical Tests During Ramadan

Post by : Shakul

During the holy month of Ramadan, free medical testing services will be available across several parks in Dubai as part of a community health initiative aimed at early disease detection and preventive care.

The programme is being organised by the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities under its Ramadan campaign titled “Step of Life”. The initiative is being conducted in cooperation with Prime Medical Care and the Noor Dubai Foundation.Free health screenings will be offered on February 26, March 5 and March 12 at key outdoor locations, including Quranic Park, Kite Beach and Nad Al Sheba Park. Services will run from 4pm until the Maghrib prayer time, with extended hours if required.

The medical tests will include eye examinations, blood pressure checks and blood glucose testing. These services aim to help in the early detection of chronic diseases and encourage healthier lifestyle choices among residents.Mobile medical units will also visit busy public areas to spread awareness about preventive healthcare, making medical services more accessible during Ramadan when families gather in parks before breaking their fast.

Speaking about the initiative, Mohammed Musbah Dahi, Executive Director of the Charitable Work Sector, said that creating a healthy society begins with awareness at the family level. He added that the programme focuses on building long-term healthy habits and strengthening preventive care across the community.
