Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show Opens With Over 50 Yachts

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

The 11th edition of the Pre-Owned Boat Show officially began at Dubai Creek Marina, Park Hyatt Resort, on Friday. Running from 31st October to 2nd November 2025, the event is held under the inspiring theme “A Boat for Everyone.” The exhibition aims to make boating more accessible while strengthening Dubai’s status as a global maritime hub.

This year’s show gathers more than 50 international brands, showcasing over 50 yachts and boats with a total estimated value exceeding AED200 million. The event offers a wide selection of pre-owned vessels, including luxury yachts, family cruisers, and compact boats designed for both new and experienced buyers.

The show underscores Dubai’s reputation as a leader in leisure marine innovation and as a prime destination for buying and selling pre-owned vessels. It brings together a dynamic mix of boat owners, buyers, investors, and enthusiasts to explore opportunities in the region’s growing maritime industry.

According to the Dubai Maritime Authority at the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, the number of registered maritime vessels in 2024 reached 7,738, representing a 14.4 percent increase compared to the previous year. Additionally, the number of maritime crew members grew to 12,226, reflecting a 22.8 percent growth rate. These figures illustrate the sector’s strong performance and continued investor confidence.

The rise in registered vessels and maritime professionals aligns with Dubai’s broader vision to develop a world-class marine ecosystem that promotes innovation, sustainability, and safety. By hosting international exhibitions like the Pre-Owned Boat Show, Dubai continues to position itself as a global gateway for maritime business and leisure.

The opening day of the event witnessed an impressive turnout, with marine enthusiasts, investors, and families attending in large numbers. Visitors explored an extensive range of vessels, enjoyed live demonstrations, and engaged with leading industry experts from across the world. The event’s welcoming environment reflects its theme — providing a boat suitable for every type of buyer.

This year’s exhibition offers visitors a complete boating experience, extending beyond yacht sales. Attendees have access to financing, insurance, and maintenance services, as well as a wide display of marine spare parts, engines, and accessories. These offerings aim to simplify ownership and ensure that buyers make well-informed decisions.

The Pre-Owned Boat Show also contributes to promoting marine lifestyle tourism in Dubai. The city’s beautiful coastline, modern marinas, and luxury waterfronts make it a preferred destination for boating activities. Events like this not only encourage leisure boating but also boost related industries such as hospitality, tourism, and trade.

In line with Dubai’s sustainability goals, the show emphasizes eco-friendly boating practices and encourages the use of modern technologies to reduce environmental impact. Exhibitors highlight new methods in fuel efficiency, sustainable maintenance, and waste management, promoting responsible marine operations.

With over 5,000 visitors expected during the three-day event, the 11th edition is set to surpass previous attendance records. Industry experts anticipate continued growth in the region’s pre-owned yacht market, driven by Dubai’s stable economy, innovative infrastructure, and investor-friendly regulations.

The 2025 Pre-Owned Boat Show at Dubai Creek Marina demonstrates Dubai’s commitment to advancing its maritime sector and enhancing its role as a hub for global marine commerce. As the event concludes on 2nd November, it leaves a lasting mark on the boating community by offering opportunities for enthusiasts and investors alike to experience the best of maritime innovation.
