The Dubai WoodShow 2026 has affirmed its status as a prominent event in the timber, woodworking machinery, and manufacturing technology sectors by drawing 5,280 visitors from 80 nations during its initial days.
Hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre from June 22 to 24, 2026, the exhibition featured over 400 exhibitors, more than 600 international brands, five national pavilions, and participants from over 45 countries. This diverse presence showcased the importance of the event as a global networking platform for manufacturers, suppliers, buyers, and key decision-makers in the timber industry.
The second day of the exhibition maintained high levels of commercial activity, with exhibitors and visitors engaging in business negotiations, sourcing talks, and networking. Organizers noted that this continued momentum highlighted the event’s essential role in promoting business opportunities and strengthening industry relationships on both regional and global scales.
An on-site survey conducted by the organizers revealed that agreements and deals finalized on the opening day exceeded AED 250 million, reflecting a robust interest from high-quality participating companies.
Mr. Saud Al Sheikh, CEO of Saudi WoodShow, was present at the event, sharing insights about the upcoming Saudi exhibition scheduled for September 1 to 3, 2026, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
During his visit, he discussed the anticipated international participation, underlining the growing interest in opportunities within the timber sector across the region.
Exhibitors praised the event's organization, visitor engagement quality, and increasing market eagerness for modern technologies and smart manufacturing solutions.
There has been a marked demand for advanced machinery, automated systems, innovative materials, and digital platforms aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and competitiveness. Many industry participants recognized that the exhibition mirrored the changing dynamics of the sector and the surge in technology adoption.
The event's conference program added significant value by covering discussions on innovation, design, sustainability, and emerging market opportunities.
These sessions aligned with national agendas such as UAE Vision 2031 and the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan. Industry experts deliberated on how these frameworks support industrial transformation and create new business prospects.
Walid Farghal, General Manager of Dubai WoodShow, remarked, "The second day of Dubai WoodShow reaffirmed the exhibition’s position as a vital business platform impacting market dynamics and the sector's future. The commercial exchanges noted at the show and the growing interest in advanced solutions signify considerable business value for all participants."
Co-located with the Dubai WoodShow, the International Furniture Accessories, Components & Semi-Finished Products Exhibition (IFAC) united manufacturers, suppliers, and designers.
This exhibition showcased the latest materials and technologies driving innovation in furniture production and interior design. Organizers asserted that IFAC addressed shifting market needs while fostering new partnership opportunities.
The robust participation throughout the three-day exhibition further solidified Dubai’s position as a key hub for the timber industry, connecting manufacturing centers to high-demand regional markets.
With its advanced logistics and business-friendly conditions, Dubai remains a prime destination for specialized industrial exhibitions and international trade activities.
As the exhibition concluded on June 24, 2026, the Dubai WoodShow once again proved its significance as a platform for business opportunities, innovation discussions, and global networking in the timber and woodworking machinery sectors.
