Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the Healthcare Future Summit (HFS) 2025, Annual Radiology Meeting (ARM), and International Family Medicine Conference and Exhibition (IFM) concluded successful editions, reinforcing Dubai’s global reputation in healthcare and medical education.
HFS 2025 ended with a structured roundtable bringing together leading healthcare experts to discuss Dubai’s transformative initiatives. The discussions focused on key pillars including Wellbeing, Vaccination, School Health, Health Regulations Framework, and Medical Tourism. The event emphasised preventive care and behaviour change, encouraging early screenings and workplace wellness programmes.
Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, CEO of HFS, highlighted Dubai’s commitment to healthcare innovation through collaboration, data-driven strategies, and community-focused approaches. He stressed that preventive care combined with advanced technologies is essential to building a healthier, more resilient city.
Experts at the roundtable highlighted the importance of coordination across Dubai’s healthcare ecosystem, involving public and private sectors, educational institutions, employers, and insurers. Data-driven strategies using AI, predictive analytics, and real-time monitoring were recognised as key tools to optimise resource allocation and decision-making.
Community engagement strategies were identified as vital, including culturally adaptive programmes supported by public champions and role models. In schools, experts recommended a ‘whole-school’ approach integrating mental health, nutrition, social engagement, and digital awareness, supported by trained counsellors and psychologists.
Digital solutions were emphasised as key enablers, including unified databases, gamification, mobile app reminders for screenings and vaccinations, and loyalty-based engagement models. These efforts aim to enhance Dubai’s position as a leading destination for medical tourism while supporting workforce development and centres of excellence.
ARM 2025 celebrated a decade of achievements in radiology and announced that Dubai will host the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT) World Congress in 2026. The event highlighted Dubai’s growing role in global medical imaging and collaboration in scientific research.
Michal Franc from the Czech Republic presented pioneering research on a novel 19F-based MRI contrast agent designed for tumour tissue labelling. His work set a new benchmark in oncology imaging, reflecting the high scientific standard of ARM and the region’s impact on global medical research.
The IFM conference provided a platform for medical professionals to gain knowledge, engage with experts, and access the latest scientific developments. Together with HFS and ARM, these events offered interactive sessions, workshops, and opportunities to advance skills and remain at the forefront of healthcare innovation.
Organised by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions in partnership with the Dubai Health Authority, HFS, ARM, and IFM underline Dubai’s commitment to healthcare innovation, education, and global collaboration. The events showcase the emirate’s leadership in medical research, education, and healthcare transformation.
