Chennai Expert Shares Four Manageable Weight-Loss Tips for the New Year

Post by : Saif Al-Najjar

As the festive season reaches its zenith, many struggle to maintain a healthy diet. Holiday celebrations, sugary delights, and hectic schedules often disrupt eating patterns. With the New Year looming, the urge to start dieting can become overwhelming. However, according to Chennai health coach Vivek Thiruvengadam, you can begin your journey to better health by adopting simple changes now.

Vivek, the founder of QubitFit, posted four achievable weight-loss strategies on Instagram on November 26. His recommendations emphasize fostering healthy habits rather than adhering to rigid diets, proving that anyone can implement these tips without feeling overwhelmed.

The first tip advocates reducing fats instead of eliminating carbohydrates. Vivek clarified that many incorrectly assume cutting carbs is the quickest way to lose weight. As fats typically contain more calories, minimizing fried and oily foods can yield significant results. He practices this by using oil sprays while cooking and opting for boiled or steamed vegetables over fried options. Even with potatoes, using steaming methods keeps meals light yet energizing.

The second piece of advice is to eliminate liquid calories. Sweetened coffees, milkshakes, sodas, and juices can secretly add excessive calories. Vivek shared his transition from milky coffee to black coffee, which allowed him to cut down on hidden calories without major lifestyle changes. Such simple adjustments can lead to noticeable changes over time.

His third recommendation is to take a brief walk after each meal. Vivek points out that a ten-minute walk following breakfast, lunch, or dinner enhances digestion and promotes physical activity. This easy, no-cost habit helps torch extra calories and increases overall energy levels, making it accessible for all age groups. Starting with small efforts can pave the way for a more active lifestyle.

The final suggestion is to maintain consistency at breakfast. Vivek asserts that a regular morning meal can mitigate cravings and simplify daily meal choices. He advises selecting a breakfast rich in protein and fiber to promote prolonged fullness. A stable and nutritious breakfast facilitates better choices throughout the day.

Vivek concluded by stating these straightforward strategies are part of his personal routine. He invites anyone interested to reach out for more detailed guidance. His insights reinforce that effective weight loss doesn't require strict dieting, but rather a series of gradual changes that can lead to significant improvements.

His points serve as a valuable reminder that enhancing health is more about manageable actions that align with daily life rather than drastic overhauls. As the New Year approaches, these four tips can empower anyone to feel more confident, energized, and ready to pursue their health goals.
