His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, met with His Excellency Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue 2025 conference, which gathered senior officials, ministers, and representatives from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Arab nations to discuss pressing regional and international issues.

The discussion between Prince Salman and Minister Al Muraikhi underscored the importance of regional dialogue in promoting mutual understanding and cooperation among GCC countries. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to working closely within the framework of the GCC to strengthen unity, enhance political coordination, and foster collective security in the region.

The Manama Dialogue 2025, hosted in the Bahraini capital, serves as one of the most important international platforms for discussing regional stability, defense strategies, and diplomatic cooperation. The event brings together leaders, policymakers, and experts to exchange ideas on how to build lasting peace and strengthen partnerships in the Gulf and beyond.

During the meeting, the Bahraini Crown Prince highlighted that unity among GCC countries is the foundation for regional stability and progress. He stressed that open dialogue and mutual respect among member states are essential for facing shared challenges, including security, economic diversification, and sustainable development.

Prince Salman also noted that Bahrain continues to support all efforts that aim to enhance GCC integration and reinforce cooperation among its members in political, economic, and social areas.

Minister Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi conveyed Qatar’s appreciation for Bahrain’s role in hosting the Manama Dialogue, which provides an opportunity for open and constructive discussions on regional and global issues. He expressed Qatar’s willingness to continue working hand in hand with GCC partners to promote prosperity, peace, and cooperation.

Both leaders agreed on the importance of maintaining security and stability in the Gulf region, emphasizing that coordinated diplomatic efforts are key to overcoming regional challenges. They discussed ways to strengthen economic collaboration, encourage cultural exchange, and support initiatives that build a sustainable and prosperous future for all GCC citizens.

Prince Salman and Minister Al Muraikhi exchanged views on international developments and their impact on the Gulf region. They affirmed the need for ongoing coordination and consultation among GCC states in addressing global challenges, from economic shifts to humanitarian crises.

The two leaders also discussed enhancing cooperation in multilateral organizations to amplify the collective voice of the Gulf region on the global stage.

The Manama Dialogue has grown into a vital diplomatic event that facilitates discussions between Gulf countries and their international partners. It offers a neutral platform for addressing security issues, geopolitical challenges, and opportunities for cooperation. The 2025 edition has once again reaffirmed the region’s determination to promote peaceful dialogue and constructive diplomacy.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman reiterated Bahrain’s dedication to supporting peace and cooperation in the Arab world. He emphasized that the Kingdom will continue to promote dialogue as a means of resolving differences and building trust among neighboring nations.

The meeting between Prince Salman and Minister Al Muraikhi reflects a renewed spirit of unity and collaboration within the Gulf Cooperation Council. It highlights the growing recognition among GCC leaders that collective progress depends on continuous dialogue, mutual understanding, and respect for shared values.

As the Manama Dialogue 2025 continues, it serves as a reminder of the region’s shared aspirations—to build a stable, secure, and prosperous Gulf region that thrives on cooperation and peace.
