Minister of Health Fahad AlJalajel represented the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the 72nd session of the UN World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean. The session was held in Cairo, Egypt, from October 15 to 17. Health ministers, representatives of member states, experts, and officials from international organizations participated in the important meetings.
Focus on Regional Health Priorities
The meetings focused on priority health issues facing countries in the Eastern Mediterranean Region. Delegates discussed strategies to coordinate joint efforts in tackling public health challenges.
