His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, joined the nation in celebrating UAE Flag Day, calling it a bright symbol of national unity and pride. He said that this day represents the UAE’s spirit of determination and strength to continue its journey of progress and prosperity under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In his message, Sheikh Hamad emphasized that Flag Day is more than a national celebration — it is a renewal of the deep bond between the leadership and the people. He stated that the UAE continues to follow a steadfast path of giving, guided by wise leadership that has established an exceptional model of unity, cooperation, and shared vision for the future.
Sheikh Hamad said that Flag Day reminds every Emirati of the nation’s journey from unity to global recognition. It is a time to reflect on the achievements made since the Union was founded and to look forward to the country’s promising future. He noted that the flag stands as a proud symbol of the UAE’s story — one of strength, brotherhood, and shared national identity.
The Ruler of Fujairah highlighted that the UAE has become a model for nations around the world. He said that the country’s success lies in its unity and faith in its people. With perseverance and collective effort, the UAE has built a society that values progress, peace, and generosity, making it a global inspiration in development, tolerance, and coexistence.
Sheikh Hamad underscored that generosity and tolerance are core values of the UAE’s national identity. These values, he said, unite all citizens and residents under one flag that represents equality, respect, and humanity. He added that the UAE’s achievements in building a harmonious and inclusive society continue to reflect the vision of its founding leaders.
As part of his Flag Day message, Sheikh Hamad called on all Emiratis to renew their loyalty to the UAE flag and to remember the sacrifices made by those who worked tirelessly to build the nation. He said that the flag remains a symbol of the country’s enduring strength, unity, and aspiration to reach greater heights.
Sheikh Hamad reaffirmed Fujairah’s and the UAE’s commitment to national development and progress. He said that the next chapter of the nation’s journey will continue to focus on innovation, education, and sustainability while preserving the values that define the UAE’s identity.
In his closing remarks, the Ruler of Fujairah expressed his pride in the UAE’s accomplishments and the unwavering unity among its people. He said that as the UAE flag flies high, it reminds everyone of their shared responsibility to contribute to the nation’s continued success and to uphold the values of loyalty, respect, and unity that have shaped its remarkable story.
