H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Border Security Council, toured various inspection sites at Jebel Ali Port to assess the initiatives implemented by Dubai Customs aimed at bolstering border security. During his visit, he gained insights into the latest strategies to curb smuggling of prohibited goods and ensure the safety of operations at the port.
Sheikh Mansoor received a briefing on the innovative inspection technology employed by Dubai Customs, which harnesses artificial intelligence for the detection of illegal activities. This technology enables customs personnel to more efficiently monitor containers and promptly react to any suspicious cases. Accompanying Sheikh Mansoor were Dr. Abdulla Busenad, Director-General of Dubai Customs, and Omar Ali Salem Al Addidi, Secretary-General of the Dubai Border Security Council.
