AFC President Congratulates Saudi Arabia and Qatar on WC

Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and FIFA First Vice-President, congratulated Saudi Arabia and Qatar for securing their places in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He highlighted that the qualification of both nations reflects the strong position and rising standards of football in Asia.
