On Wednesday, Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who heads the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, made a visit to the 5th edition of Make it in The Emirates 2026, held at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.
This prominent industrial event, organized by ADNEC Group, is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, ADNOC, and L'IMAD Holding under the theme "Advanced Industry. Emerging Stronger."
During her time at the exhibition, Sheikha Latifa commended the impressive growth of the event, noting it exemplifies the UAE’s ambition to establish itself as a global leader in advanced industries and innovation.-driven economic developments.
She expressed that the exhibition aligns with the UAE leadership's vision for a sustainable and diversified economy, emphasizing investments in technology, the empowerment of individuals, and the support for future industries. Moreover, she pointed out the UAE’s aspiration to evolve into an international hub for advanced manufacturing and innovative industrial solutions.
Sheikha Latifa acknowledged the essential contributions of national companies, entrepreneurs, innovators, and the youth showcased at the exhibition. She emphasized the UAE's commitment to creating an integrated development framework that helps turn concepts into successful ventures, promoting innovation, local production, youth empowerment, and support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
During her tour, she visited numerous platforms including The House of Industry, Al Ghadeer Emirati Craft, Advanced Technology Research Council, Theeb Cars, the Ministry of Culture, Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, and Emirates Food Industries.
She also received insights into the latest industrial and technological advancements designed to boost local manufacturing capabilities, enhance the competitiveness of Emirati products, and nurture national and youthful talent across various sectors.
Accompanied by Maryam Al Hammadi, Huda Al Hashimi, and Hala Badri, Sheikha Latifa engaged with numerous exhibitors and discussions.
This exhibition is recognized as the largest industrial gathering in the region, attracting government representatives, industry leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and experts.
This year’s edition includes over 1,245 companies spanning 12 industrial sectors. The event also offers fresh procurement opportunities aimed at localizing around 5,000 products within the UAE, with SMEs making up 61 percent of the participants.
