UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Abu Dhabi during President El-Sisi’s official visit to the United Arab Emirates. The meeting reflected the strong and friendly relationship between the two countries.
During the talks, the two leaders reviewed close ties and discussed ways to expand cooperation in different fields. They focused on key areas that support development goals and long-term progress for both nations. The leaders highlighted the importance of working together to achieve shared economic and social objectives.
The discussions also covered major regional and international issues, especially recent developments in the Middle East. Both leaders stressed the need to fully implement the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and ensure that humanitarian aid reaches civilians without obstacles to reduce their suffering.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and President El-Sisi also emphasized the importance of moving towards a fair and lasting peace based on the two-state solution. They agreed that this approach is essential for maintaining regional security and long-term stability.
The two presidents reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing consultation and close coordination. They agreed to continue working together to support peace, stability, and development across the region for the benefit of their people.
As part of his visit, President El-Sisi toured the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence with the UAE President. He was briefed on the university’s academic programmes, research work, and progress in artificial intelligence and advanced technology, which support the UAE’s future development vision.
At the end of the visit, President El-Sisi departed from Abu Dhabi’s Presidential Airport, where he was seen off by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. Several senior UAE officials and leaders were also present during the farewell, reflecting the importance of the visit and the strong ties between the two countries.
