In a significant meeting held at the Hungarian parliament's headquarters in Budapest, Dr. Omar Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the UAE Federal National Council (FNC), met with Dr. György Such, Director-General of the National Assembly of Hungary. Their discussions were aimed at fortifying both technical and administrative collaboration between their parliamentary institutions.
The dialogue underscored the necessity for exchanging expertise, especially in leveraging artificial intelligence to boost parliamentary efficiency. Also present during the discussions was Afra Rashid Al Basti, Deputy Secretary-General of Parliamentary Communication at the FNC. Dr. Al Nuaimi highlighted the importance of continuing the cooperation established under the Memorandum of Understanding between the FNC and the Hungarian National Assembly. He commended Hungary's rich parliamentary history and its sophisticated systems for legislative functions.

Dr. Al Nuaimi emphasized the significance of consistent coordination and exchanges within international parliamentary forums.

Both parties concurred that such innovations could be tailored to the UAE's parliamentary context to enhance operational efficiency.
Concluding the meeting, Dr. Al Nuaimi extended a formal invitation for Dr. György to visit the UAE and the FNC. This visit would allow an in-depth observation of the FNC's operations, specialized secretariat roles, and innovative legislative practices. The dialogue reaffirmed both nations' commitment to enhancing partnership in technology, administration, and legislative support.
