Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, said the UAE is committed to nurturing national talent in AI. The Pro version of Google Gemini offers tools such as Gemini 2.5 Pro for complex tasks, Deep Research for compiling detailed reports, and NotebookLM to organise thoughts effectively. Students can also create interactive quizzes, summarise lecture notes, or produce short podcasts. Veo 3 allows text or photos to be transformed into short videos with sound, while 2TB of cloud storage ensures ample space for notes, projects, and multimedia content.

Anthony Nakache, Google’s Managing Director in the Middle East & North Africa, highlighted a growing interest in AI and education in the UAE. Searches related to AI and study increased by 110% over the past two months, showing students and educators are keen to experiment with modern technologies.
