Chinese leader Xi Jinping has hailed a fresh chapter in China-North Korea relations as he stepped into Pyongyang for a significant summit with Kim Jong Un. This marks Xi's first overseas visit of 2026 and his first trip to North Korea in seven years, showcasing the crucial role the partnership plays for both nations.
Prior to his arrival, Xi shared a message in North Korea's official newspaper, reiterating China's intent to deepen collaboration with its neighbor.
