In a thrilling box office contest, 120 Bahadur is currently outpacing Mastiii 4. On its third day, 120 Bahadur garnered Rs 4 crore, while Mastiii 4 followed with Rs 3 crore. To date, 120 Bahadur has accrued Rs 10.1 crore in India, in contrast to Mastiii 4’s tally of Rs 8.5 crore.
Analyzing Hindi occupancy on November 23, 120 Bahadur achieved an overall occupancy rate of 16.50%, with morning shows at 7.90%, afternoon at 18.74%, evening at 24.60%, and night at 14.76%. Meanwhile, Mastiii 4 posted an overall occupancy of 12.61%, featuring morning shows at 5.59%, afternoon at 12.91%, evening at 17.02%, and night at 14.93%.
Directed by Razneesh Ghai, 120 Bahadur is inspired by the Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. The narrative revolves around the valor of 120 soldiers from the Charlie Company of the 13 Kumaon Regiment who bravely confronted approximately 3,000 Chinese troops on November 18, 1962. Major Shaitan Singh Bhati is portrayed by Farhan Akhtar, with Raashii Khanna starring as Shagun Kanwar Singh. The ensemble includes Ankit Siwach, Vivan Bhatena, Dhanveer Singh, and Sahib Verma, combining elements of history, patriotism, and thrilling action to honor the soldiers' heroism.
Mastiii 4, helmed by Milap Milan Zaveri, serves as the fourth chapter in the beloved adult-comedy series, initiated with Masti in 2004 and followed by Grand Masti and Great Grand Masti in the subsequent years. This latest edition retains the franchise’s hallmark of humor blended with raunchy comedy. Returning cast members include Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani, Arshad Warsi, Elnaaz Norouzi, Nargis Fakhri, and Tusshar Kapoor, with Genelia D’Souza making a notable special appearance.
