44 Palestinians Killed, Hunger Deaths Rise in Gaza Attacks

On Sunday, 44 Palestinians lost their lives in the Gaza Strip. This happened after a series of shootings and airstrikes carried out by Israeli forces. One of the most tragic events took place when 22 people who had gathered to receive humanitarian aid were killed. These victims were waiting for help in an area where aid was being distributed. In addition to those killed, many others were hurt and taken to hospitals for treatment.

This violence has made the already dangerous situation in Gaza worse. People there are struggling with war, lack of food, poor medical services, and no safe place to go.

Airstrikes and Gunfire Spread Across Gaza

The Israeli attacks did not happen in just one place. Airstrikes and shootings were reported in several parts of Gaza. Homes, streets, and areas where people were trying to get aid were all affected. Local residents said they heard loud explosions and gunfire throughout the day.

People are scared to leave their houses. Even those going out only to find food or help are at great risk. Many families have been torn apart, and survivors say they are afraid that more attacks could happen at any time.

22 Killed While Waiting for Aid

Out of the 44 people killed on Sunday, 22 were standing in line or waiting in open areas where aid was expected to be handed out. These individuals were not fighters or involved in any violence. They were simply hungry people waiting for food and other basic items.

Witnesses say they saw people carrying bags and containers, hoping to receive food when suddenly the area was attacked. The scene turned tragic in seconds, with many lying injured or dead on the ground.

This incident highlights how even places where people go to get help are not safe anymore.

Six More People Die from Hunger

As if the violence was not enough, the famine in Gaza continues to take lives. On Sunday, Palestinian health workers confirmed that six more people had died from hunger. This brings the total number of deaths due to starvation to 175.

The situation is very serious. Many people, especially children and the elderly, have gone without enough food for weeks. Hospitals are seeing more and more patients with signs of extreme weakness and malnutrition.

Doctors are saying they cannot help everyone because they don’t have enough supplies or medicine.

Starving Children Are the Most Affected

Among the 175 people who died of hunger so far, 93 are children. This is almost more than half the total hunger deaths. These children did not have enough food or clean water for many days.

Doctors and aid workers say they are heartbroken to see children suffering like this. Their bodies are very weak, and many cannot even speak or move. Some babies have died in their mothers' arms because they could not be fed.

Children are the most at risk in times of crisis, and the lack of food in Gaza is putting an entire generation in danger.

UN and WHO Warn of Worsening Hunger

Both the United Nations (UN) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) have given strong warnings about the hunger problem in Gaza. They say the situation is becoming worse every day.

According to their reports, more children are becoming dangerously thin, and many families are living on just a few bites of food per day. The international organisations are calling for urgent action to deliver food, medicine, and clean water to the people of Gaza.

They are also asking for safe routes for aid to reach the people who need it the most.

No Safe Place to Get Help

People in Gaza are facing danger even when they try to get help. The places where food and medicine are handed out have become targets. Aid workers and volunteers are also at risk.

Many people are afraid to go out to get food because they do not know if they will return safely. Some families have lost loved ones who simply went to find bread or water.

This shows how the people of Gaza are trapped between hunger and violence, with no safe options left.

Al-Aqsa Mosque Site Visited by Israeli Minister

On the same day, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir visited the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem. He was joined by several Israeli settlers during the visit.

This area is very important to both Muslims and Jews and has been a source of tension for many years. When high-level Israeli officials enter the compound, it often leads to strong reactions from Palestinians and other countries.

Many people see this as a political move that adds more pressure and increases anger in an already unstable region.

International Concern Grows

The ongoing violence, hunger, and political tensions in Gaza have caused concern around the world. Human rights groups, aid organisations, and some governments have asked Israel to stop attacks on civilians and allow food and medical help to reach the people.

At the same time, they have also asked for a long-term solution to the conflict, one that brings peace and safety to both Palestinians and Israelis.

People across the world are watching the situation closely, hoping that something will be done to save lives and reduce suffering.

Urgent Action Needed

The crisis in Gaza is not just about war. It is also about survival. Every day, people are dying from both violence and hunger. Children, who should be playing and learning, are instead fighting to stay alive.

Aid organisations are doing their best, but they cannot help everyone without support. They are asking for more donations, more food shipments, and safer conditions to work in.

Until serious steps are taken, the people of Gaza will continue to suffer. The international community must act fast to bring relief and hope to the people caught in this terrible crisis.
