Bollywood icon Aamir Khan made headlines with his unexpected visit to his ex-wife Reena Datta’s art show, demonstrating his continued support. Reena took to social media to express her thanks, sharing moments from this special occasion.
On Friday, Reena posted multiple images featuring Aamir at her exhibition held at the Nehru Centre Art Gallery, running from 18th to 24th November 2025. The snapshots depicted Aamir engaging with the artwork and mingling with guests. Dressed smartly in a green kurta and a black Nehru jacket, Aamir was a picture of elegance. Reena captioned the images, “When your ex surprises you and shows up for your exhibition. Thank you Aamir for always supporting my artistic endeavor. #dropletsofpaint #chitrasutraartacademy. Aamir and Reena's love story began long before Aamir became a well-known star. They were neighbors who initially caught each other's attention through their windows, leading to a romance that culminated in a secret marriage. They shared 16 years together and have two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, with Junaid pursuing acting while Ira prefers to live outside the public eye.
Aamir has been open about his challenges post-separation, candidly sharing his experiences with depression and alcohol. Reflecting on their split, he mentioned, “When Reena and I separated, I consumed an entire bottle of alcohol that night. I struggled to cope for the next year and a half, drinking daily just to escape reality.”
After parting ways with Reena, Aamir married Kiran Rao, whom he shares a son, Azad. Although they also separated in 2021, they maintain a cooperative parenting relationship. Recently, Aamir introduced his new partner, Gauri Spratt, reflecting on their reconnection after 25 years.
