Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan presented the championship trophy to Rai in front of a bustling audience. Rai lit up the leaderboard finishing at 26 under par after a gripping playoff against fellow countryman Tommy Fleetwood, who finished at 25 under par. Notable performances included Denmark’s Nicolai Højgaard and Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy, the leader in the Race to Dubai, tying at 24 under par. The atmosphere on the final day was electric, particularly at the 18th hole, where Rai claimed his victory.

The event was organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and DP World, concluding with an awards ceremony featuring Major General (Ret.) Abdullah Al Hashemi, Abdulfattah Sharaf from HSBC Middle East, Erik Nicolai from the European Tour Group, and DP World CEO Guy Kinnings. He also appreciated the contributions of sponsors, partners, and volunteers, along with the substantial turnout of fans and global viewership. The council is dedicated to enhancing the golf culture, aiming to draw in younger demographics to the sport across the UAE and beyond.
