Abu Dhabi Chamber inks pact with 1X Technologies to expand AI and robotics

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Abu Dhabi Chamber has formalised a strategic partnership with 1X Technologies, Inc. to accelerate the rollout of robotics and artificial intelligence across the emirate’s energy and manufacturing industries. The agreement was signed by His Excellency Shamis Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Second Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Chamber, and Mr. Mustally Hussain, CFO of 1X Technologies, Inc.

The collaboration targets swift transformation in clean energy, smart manufacturing and industrial automation. By deploying advanced robotics and AI solutions, the partners expect to boost productivity, open global markets for SMEs and advance Abu Dhabi’s drive toward a diversified, knowledge-based economy.

Under the alliance, local businesses will have pathways to adopt and potentially localise cutting-edge automation technologies within the emirate. 1X Technologies, recognised internationally for its work on humanoid robots and AI-enabled industrial systems, brings technical capabilities that could reshape operational models across sectors.

The initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s ambition to strengthen its role as a regional innovation hub. By connecting domestic firms with international technology providers, the Chamber aims to nurture an ecosystem where local enterprises can scale and compete worldwide.

The agreement places particular emphasis on human-robot collaboration, promoting intelligent machines engineered to work safely and efficiently alongside people. For Abu Dhabi, this partnership is a strategic step toward building resilient, competitive industries for the global market.
