Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince Engages with McLaren's Chief Executive

Abu Dhabi is making strides to consolidate its status as a center for motorsport innovation. His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, held discussions with Zak Brown, the CEO of McLaren Racing, prior to the Etihad Airways Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The agenda centered on building strategic collaborations in cutting-edge automotive technology and artificial intelligence, intending to bring innovative advancements from the emirate to the international motorsport stage. Opportunities to incorporate emerging tech into racing strategies, performance optimization, and enhancing fan engagement were explored.

Accompanying Sheikh Khaled were influential figures such as His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Jassem Mohammed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Department of Finance – Abu Dhabi; and His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Office of the Crown Prince. Their attendance highlights Abu Dhabi’s dedication to promoting innovation and collaborative initiatives in high-performance fields.

This meeting showcases the emirate’s aim not only to host premier motorsport events but also to spearhead technological innovations that will shape the future of racing and automotive excellence.
