The Abu Dhabi Powerboat Team, representing the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, is participating in the Genoa International Boat Show, held from September 18 to 23 in Genoa, Italy. The show is one of the world’s largest events for boating, yachting, and marine equipment, attracting leading global brands and companies.
Showcasing the Record-Breaking Boat
At the Mercury global stand, the team is presenting the “Abu Dhabi” powerboat, which set a new record in the historic Pavia–Venice race in June 2025. Italian driver and Team Technical Director Guido Cappellini completed the race in 1 hour, 41 minutes, and 54 seconds, reaching an average speed of 207.26 km/h.
International Platform and Recognition
The Genoa International Boat Show is a prestigious event, attracting over 120,000 visitors every year across an exhibition area of more than 200,000 square meters. Hundreds of exhibitors from around the world participate, presenting the latest innovations in boats, yachts, and marine technology.

Thani Al Qemzi, Team Manager of the Abu Dhabi Powerboat Team, said that showcasing the boat at this world-class event reflects the Club’s prominent position on the international stage.
