The Abu Dhabi Sailing Team finished the 2025 Mussanah Sailing Week with impressive achievements, securing six medals across multiple disciplines. Emirati competitors showcased their skills, excelling among over 100 entrants from the region and beyond. This event underscored the UAE’s burgeoning reputation in the world of competitive sailing.
Abdullah Al Zubaidi triumphed with a gold medal in the ILCA 4 category, exhibiting exceptional strategy and performance. In the girls’ division, Marwa Al Hammadi also took home the gold, while Al Yazia Al Hammadi followed closely with a silver medal. These accolades reflect the strength of Abu Dhabi’s youth sailing initiatives and the emerging talent in the Emirati sailing community.
In the ILCA 7 category, Mohammed Al Hammadi earned a silver medal after a series of impressive races that displayed his skill and determination. Additionally, Khalifa Al Rumaithi won two bronze medals—one in the Optimist class and another in the team race for the same class, highlighting the team's adaptability across different sailing formats and age groups.
