Abu Dhabi's EMS Conference Promotes Advanced Ambulance Care

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Abu Dhabi is gearing up to be at the forefront of emergency medical service advancements with the launch of the first-ever International EMS Conference, organized by the Civil Defence Authority, from 25 to 27 November 2025. This groundbreaking event seeks to enhance ambulance services and pre-hospital care throughout the region.

Over the course of three days, the conference will convene prominent physicians, specialists, and emergency professionals globally, providing an invaluable opportunity to exchange knowledge, research, and innovative practices. Participants can expect nine tailored training workshops designed for healthcare providers and first responders, along with public workshops accredited by the American Heart Association, centering on first aid and CPR.

A key feature of the event will be the Ambulance Challenge, where teams from both local and international backgrounds will face off in simulated emergency situations, examining their response efficiency, teamwork, and performance under stress. This interactive experience underscores the importance of practical training and preparedness for real-world emergencies.

By promoting partnerships between domestic and international emergency medical organizations, the conference aspires to improve operational capacities, share best practices in crisis management, and establish Abu Dhabi as a regional center for innovative emergency medical services.
