Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – International law firm Addleshaw Goddard (AG) has marked a milestone by hosting its very first Golf Day at Dirab Golf & Country Club, becoming the first law firm in Saudi Arabia to organize such an event. This gathering provided a platform for clients, partners, and associates to engage in golf, foster networking opportunities, and strengthen relationships, celebrating AG’s expanding presence in the Kingdom.
Coinciding with the nearing second anniversary of its Riyadh office—established in January 2024 after AG received its Foreign Law Firm Licence from the Saudi Ministry of Justice—the event reflects the rapid development experienced by the firm in alignment with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, marking it as one of AG’s fastest-growing global markets.
AG’s Riyadh team extends comprehensive legal services to prominent Saudi and international clients across various sectors, including corporate, M&A, capital markets, banking and finance, infrastructure projects, energy, and regulatory compliance. With a surge in client needs and a robust local presence, AG is committed to further investing in its personnel and long-term vision for the Kingdom.
Participants at the Golf Day hailed from notable organizations such as American Express, Arab National Bank, Expo Riyadh Company, Golf Saudi, KPMG, and the Public Investment Fund (PIF), showcasing AG's substantial network of clients and partnerships.
Robin Hickman, Head of Middle East at Addleshaw Goddard, stated:
"Our Golf Day signifies a celebration of the essential relationships that have guided us in Saudi Arabia and the exciting prospects ahead. Since our Riyadh office opened, the demand from clients has prompted remarkable growth. Our commitment lies in investing in our talent and supporting our clients’ contributions to Vision 2030."
Meanwhile, Homam Khoshaim, Co-Head of Riyadh Office, remarked:
"Saudi Arabia continues to be one of our most rapidly growing markets, and our Riyadh office has shown remarkable progress since its inception. This Golf Day allowed us to connect with clients and partners critical to this journey, reflecting our enduring commitment to the Kingdom’s transformation."
Additionally, Jad Slim, Partner at Addleshaw Goddard Riyadh, commented:
"Our inaugural Golf Day underscores our commitment to nurturing lasting relationships with our clients and partners. Engaging outside the traditional business environment has only strengthened our connections, paving the way for our ongoing growth in this region."
