Abu Dhabi – ADNOC Technical Academy (ATA) proudly announced the graduation of 403 UAE national technicians skilled in artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, a significant achievement towards fortifying a specialized workforce in the energy sector.
During a robust two-year vocational program, these graduates concentrated on various fields including electrical maintenance, instrumentation, mechanical maintenance, and processing operations. The program merged practical training with cutting-edge technologies, empowering students for high-demand roles within ADNOC’s operations.
ATA has recently adopted advanced AI-driven systems like Neuron 5, facilitating a 50% reduction in unexpected shutdowns. Students also experienced working with drones, robotics, and remotely operated vehicles for tasks like site inspections, infrastructure assessments, and gas leak evaluations, thereby aligning their technical skills with the dynamic demands of the energy sector.
Founded in 1978, ATA has successfully produced over 6,000 UAE Nationals, making a notable impact on the country’s industrial workforce. Ongoing partnerships with international robotics firms are poised to further enhance training efforts, ensuring graduates are well-equipped with the latest in automation and AI technologies within the energy domain.
With this latest cohort of graduates, ADNOC reinforces its goal of becoming the leading AI-integrated energy company, placing UAE talent at the forefront of a swiftly changing, technology-oriented energy industry.
