Aishwarya Sharma, popular for her role in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, has recently spoken out regarding divorce speculations involving her husband, Neil Bhatt.
Taking to Instagram, the actress shared her perspective, responding to unfounded assumptions about her personal life while condemning trolls for fabricating stories and branding her a bully.
She stated, "People are making assumptions about my life and actions without knowing any facts… Some even say 'karma is a bitch'. Before accepting such claims, ask those who've worked with me on set. My colleagues, producers, anyone—ask them if I have ever disrespected or harmed anyone. I’ve only strived to uphold professionalism."
Aishwarya noted that trolling intensified following her engagement to Neil Bhatt, remarking, "Since I got engaged, I have faced constant trolling. I faced it with grace, yet rarely is it acknowledged that I am the one being targeted. Why is this overlooked? I frequently receive messages and links falsely associating me with wrongful acts… that I bullied someone, that I lashed out, or misbehaved."
She firmly denounced the lies surrounding her reputation, expressing that she had initially chosen silence due to the misrepresentation of her words. "Let me be clear: I have NEVER bullied anyone in my life. Those spreading falsehoods for personal gain should really consider their own karma. You talk about mental health… but think before maligning someone you don’t even know. Silence doesn’t mean you can say anything without consequence. I will stand firm and uphold my dignity."
Earlier this month, there were reports suggesting that Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma might be heading for divorce after four years of marriage. Sources claimed they had been living apart and had filed for divorce, although the motives behind their separation remained ambiguous. Neil's absence from Aishwarya’s Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi celebration posts further stirred speculation regarding their marriage.
