Ranbir Kapoor’s Genuine Warmth Impresses Co-Star on Set

Nitesh Tiwari’s anticipated film, Ramayana: Part 1, is generating buzz in Bollywood. With an ensemble cast that features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman, this adaptation promises a thrilling retelling of the revered Hindu epic, slated for release on Diwali 2026. Fans are eagerly anticipating how this iconic story will unfold through modern filmmaking techniques and stellar performances.

The dedicated actors have reportedly invested significant time and effort into preparing for their roles in this grand production, with extensive training and character development taking place in recent months.

Ajinkya Deo, a prominent figure in both Hindi and Marathi cinema, portrays Sage Vishwamitra, the mentor of Lord Rama. He recently shared his experiences working alongside Ranbir Kapoor on the set of Ramayana: Part 1.

He remarked, “From the start, Ranbir made me feel at ease. He often exclaimed, ‘Sir, beautiful shot!’ I appreciated that about him. He would even joke about my age, but what struck me most was his genuine character. He is simply true to himself without any pretensions.”

Ajinkya also discussed how Ranbir's authenticity resonates in his performances. “Ranbir is unfiltered, which creates a unique connection with audiences. There’s a directness in his acting; unlike the previous generations who maintained a certain distance, he reveals his true self to viewers.”

The first installment of the film will follow crucial milestones in Lord Rama’s life, covering his childhood, training with Sage Vishwamitra, and his emergence as Ayodhya’s hero. Spectators can look forward to stunning visual effects, elaborate sets, and compelling performances from the talented cast.

Ramayana: Part 1 is slated to premiere on Diwali 2026, and a sequel, Ramayana: Part 2, is scheduled for Diwali 2027, promising to deliver a fully realized epic. With Nitesh Tiwari leading this ambitious project, the film aims to set new standards for mythological storytelling within Bollywood, making a lasting impact on both audiences and critics alike.
