Amitabh Bachchan Posts Intriguing Note as Dharmendra Recovers at Home

Post by : Meena Hassan

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog on Thursday to share an intriguing message: "Reconcile...and reconcile with what.... when the reconciliation breeds none... Each day a moment of adversity... and the strength needed to cope and survive."

This message followed a viral video of Bachchan cruising in his BMW through Juhu, raising questions among fans about a possible visit to his longtime friend Dharmendra, who had just been discharged from the hospital.

On Wednesday evening, Amitabh was seen maneuvering his car past a throng of paparazzi in Juhu, Mumbai, momentarily stopping as media and fans tried to catch a glimpse of the iconic star.

Amitabh and Dharmendra have featured together in numerous classic films, such as Sholay, Chupke Chupke, and Ram Balram.

Continued Recovery for Dharmendra at Home

Dharmendra left Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday afternoon after being admitted since October 31. Dr. Pratit Samdani, who managed his care, confirmed that the beloved actor would now recover at home.

The actor’s family issued a statement, requesting, "Mr Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly urge the media and public to avoid further speculation and respect his family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his recovery, health, and longevity. Please honor his privacy as he appreciates your concern."

Celebrated for movies like Sholay, Dharam Veer, Chupke Chupke, Mera Gaon Mera Desh, and Dream Girl, Dharmendra was most recently featured in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.

He is expected to appear next in Ikkis, which stars Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, set for release on December 25.
