Aneet Padda Prepares for Final Exams Amid Shakti Shalini Filming

Post by : Meena Hassan

Actress Aneet Padda, known for her appearance in the hit film Shakti Shalini, is gearing up to undertake her college final-year examinations in December and January. Following her exams, she will commence work on her upcoming film, Dinesh Vijan's Shakti Shalini, where she stars as the lead.

Aneet is currently pursuing a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science, skillfully managing her studies alongside a hectic shooting schedule. Reports indicate that her timetable is being meticulously organized to ensure she has sufficient time for both her academic and professional obligations.

Career Achievements

Aneet began her journey in the entertainment industry with a minor role in the series Salaam Venky (2022) before landing her first leading role in the Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry. Her breakout performance came in Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara, where she portrayed a songwriter facing early-onset Alzheimer’s. The film achieved remarkable success, ranking as the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025 and the top romantic film in India.

Shakti Shalini is part of Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) and is expected to hit theaters on December 24, 2026. The previous title from the MHCU, Thamma, featured stars like Rashmika Mandanna, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
