Anupam Kher and Ajinkya Rahane's Intense Flight Experience

Post by : Meena Hassan

Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher recently shared a thrilling travel incident with Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane that left them both in shock. The actor posted a video on social media recounting their flight from Delhi to Mumbai.

In the video, Anupam depicts an alarming moment when the aircraft, after making contact with the runway, unexpectedly ascended once more, inducing a sense of panic among passengers. “Traveling with you from Delhi to Mumbai was a delight! I've long admired your talent, but your humility as a person has impressed me even more! I apologize for my language—everything was fine until our plane landed and suddenly decided to take off again,” he said.

With a touch of humor, he added, “That terrifying experience didn't let me maintain my composure, and some unfiltered Shudh Hindi words slipped out! But on the bright side, now we will remember each other for several reasons! Love and prayers to you! Jai Hind!”

During the video, Anupam complimented Rahane, stating, “You are a fantastic person, and what an experience we had! The plane landed and took off again. I will always admire you, but now this will be unforgettable. Aap toh bade brave ho, bahot kuch hua mere saath. You are not just a great player but a wonderful human being. God bless you and your family.” Rahane responded amicably, calling it a “lovely meeting.”

Rahane made his way to Mumbai for the 78th Police Invitation Shield Cricket Tournament, where he participated in a felicitation function alongside senior officials from Mumbai Police and the Mumbai Cricket Association.

Meanwhile, Anupam Kher is gearing up for several upcoming projects, including an untitled film with Prabhas directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, as well as a collaboration with celebrated director Sooraj Barjatya that will mark his 549th film.
