Ashlesha Savant and Sandeep Baswana Celebrate Marriage in Vrindavan

Post by : Meena Hassan

After over two decades of companionship, actors Ashlesha Savant and Sandeep Baswana have formalized their relationship by tying the knot in a traditional ceremony. The couple shared beautiful snapshots from their wedding day on social media, giving fans a glimpse into their intimate celebration.

On Sunday, the newlyweds posted a heartfelt message alongside their pictures. Ashlesha wore an elegant pink saree, while Sandeep complemented her look in a baby pink kurta-pyjama and jacket ensemble. They expressed gratitude for the love and blessings received as they embark on this new chapter together.

The wedding occurred on November 16 at the Chandrodaya Temple in Vrindavan, attended by only close family. This sacred location holds great significance for the couple, as their earlier visit to the Radha Krishna temples in Vrindavan deepened their spiritual bond. This experience prompted them to seal their commitment after 23 remarkable years. Sandeep shared that both families were keenly anticipating this life moment, opting for a simple yet meaningful ceremony steeped in tradition.

Ashlesha and Sandeep’s journey began on the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi back in 2002. Ashlesha portrayed Teesha Mehta Virani, while Sandeep played Sahil Virani. As their friendship blossomed, Ashlesha often stayed with Sandeep given the long commute. Their bond eventually developed into a committed relationship, and they have happily shared their lives for several years.

Currently, Ashlesha is appearing in the television drama Jhanak alongside Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja, to name a few. She previously portrayed Barkha in Anupamaa. Sandeep was last seen in Apollena – Sapno Ki Unchi Udann in 2024, with details of his next project yet to be announced.
