Bahraini Team Prepares for Asian Youth Games in Kingdom

The Bahraini delegation for the 3rd Asian Youth Games attended the official sports delegation registration meeting at the Gulf Hotel, hosted by the organising committee. This meeting is part of the preparations for the upcoming games, set to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The registration meeting focused on ensuring all athletes, coaches, and officials were properly registered to participate in the multi-sport event, in accordance with the rules and guidelines set by the organisers.

Delegation Leadership and Support Staff

The delegation was led by Ahmed Abdulghaffar, Head of the Delegation, along with Abbas Bouhassan, Deputy Head, and a team of supporting administrative and technical staff. These officials are responsible for coordinating the logistics, training schedules, and overall participation of Bahraini athletes across all sports.

Their role is vital to ensuring smooth operations and providing a structured environment for athletes to focus on final preparations and competitions.

Meeting Focuses on Registration and Preparation

During the meeting, the delegation reviewed all aspects of participant registration, covering both athletes and officials. Discussions included verifying documentation, confirming competition schedules, and ensuring compliance with technical and organisational requirements.

The session also provided an opportunity to address any logistical or administrative challenges, ensuring that all Bahraini participants will have a seamless experience at the games.

Bahrain Meets Official Requirements

Athletes Prepare for Final Training

Teams are expected to arrive at official accommodations in the coming days, according to their competition schedules. Athletes are entering the final phases of training, focusing on peak performance and strategy for their events.
