The General Directorate of Civil Defence in Bahrain’s Interior Ministry has announced that warning sirens will be tested across the country at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, June 17.
This is just a routine test to make sure that the country’s emergency alert system is working properly. It is part of regular safety checks and is done to review the National Emergency Response Plan.
Officials said the purpose of the test is to check how well the warning sirens work and to make sure they are ready to be used if there is ever a real emergency.
The Ministry is asking all citizens and residents to stay calm and cooperate during the test. They also reminded everyone that this is only a test and is being done for public safety and emergency preparedness.
