Bharti Singh Touched by Heartfelt Baby Shower Surprise in Mumbai

Post by : Meena Hassan

In a delightful turn of events, comedian Bharti Singh, who revealed her second pregnancy last October, found herself overcome with emotion during a surprise baby shower thrown by her Laughter Chefs crew in Mumbai on November 16. Unaware of the celebration, which she initially thought was for work, Bharti candidly shared her surprise in an Instagram video. She humorously recounted her initial fright when greeted by a large group of well-wishers, playfully remarking that some might feel left out despite her own ignorance of the gathering.

The celebration venue was festooned with cheerful blue and pink balloons, complemented by a whimsical sign declaring, "We can barely wait." Dressed in a lovely blue attire, Bharti stood out amidst guests clad in pink, infusing the event with vibrancy. She was adorned with a "mom-to-be" tiara and a sash, while a grand cake proclaimed, "I vote girl." Various videos showcased guests joyously dancing to popular tunes like London Thumakda while capturing delightful moments with Bharti.

Numerous celebrated television personalities, including Tejasswi Prakash, Arjun Bijlani, Jannat Zubair, and Gurmeet Choudhary, were present to lend their support. Jannat even shared photos from the occasion, captioning them with “Team baby girl,” mirroring Bharti's aspirations.

Having a three-year-old son named Laksh, Bharti has been vocal about her wish for a daughter this time around. In her vlogs, she expressed her hopes for "Mata Rani" to bless her with a girl, whom she dreams of dressing up in exquisite lehengas and stylish ponytails, similar to the adorable looks of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s child, Dua.

Fans can look forward to Bharti returning to host the highly anticipated Laughter Chefs Season 3 alongside Harpal Singh Sokhi. The new season promises an exciting lineup of stars, including Gurmeet Choudhary, Debina Bonnerjee, Tejasswi Prakash, Karan Kundrra, and many more, debuting on November 22, with online viewing options available.
